It’s the time of the season for loving…music festival fashion!
Celebrities such as Kate Bosworth, Kendall Jenner and Justin Bieber were channeling their inner hippie and hipster grunge styles at Coachella. And now with waterfalls of more music festivals to attend like the Electric Forest Festival and Governor’s Ball, it’s time to channel your favorite celebrity festival looks while being tuned into your budget.
Let’s first channel Kate Bosworth and her beyond gorgeous hairstyle worn at Coachella. It was a braid and bun duo that swarmed media’s attention.
Don’t you feel like being a free spirit beauty now? And the hairstyle is not even hard to do yourself! To replicate Kate’s hair, read these simple steps from Elle Magazine.
Now let’s channel Kendall Jenner and her Coachella outfit. She wore eclectic-patterned, high-waisted bell bottoms paired with an off-the-shoulder white crop top that radiated ease and caught every eye’s attention.
To embody Kendall’s look, here are a pair of patterned trousers that you can find at Boohoo.com for only $30.
And here is an off-the-shoulder crop top you can find at Misguidedus.com for just $10.
If desired, compliment the trousers and crop top with this simply attractive necklace from NewLook.com for just $7.99.
There you have it. A celebrity style ensemble for under $50. And when it comes to shoes, slip on a pair of flip flops or be extra bohemian and rock skin, aka your bare feet.
A friend had quite the 1 year birthday party for his son. It was a very NYC crowd. They rented out Ciano. Lots of good pasta, obviously. Oh and the balloon man was awesome. But running around with all the kids meant I wanted to be as comfortable as possible, while still being presentable to the NYC stroller crowd.
Here I am on the balcony outside the DJ Rheewind Headquarters in Midtown, wearing a printed dress by Pookie & Sebastian.
Grey suede heels by Dolce Vita.
White fur coat (because it was freezing!) by Armani.
Carrying a chainlink leopard print clutch by Felix Rey.
I went with a cocktail ring and just some hoops. Keeping it simple because of all of the print!
This Fashion Week I caught up with my friend and fashion photographer Andrew Werner at the Daily Front Row’s style lounge.
I love to visit the Daily lounge every season because it gives me a little time to relax in between shows, and also because I run into old friends!
For this particular day, I wanted to go pretty casual because i was going to be running around all day.
I pulled out a blue lace dress that I got at a small boutique when I was in Los Angeles for around $50. Great find, right?
I added a BCBG leather jacket, because leather is such a hot item right now. I also think that leather and lace make a nice juxtaposition of feminine and edgy.
Some black David Lerner faux leather leggings, partly because it was stylish, but mainly because it was cold.
And then a simple Van Cleef & Arpels necklace and some blingy hoops I got at H&M gave me a nice mix of high and low.
