This summer’s heat wave will hit you faster than you think, and you’ll need to be prepared when you’re feeling like it’s time to drink. There’s nothing like a refreshing cocktail in the summertime, but who needs the calories? All of these guilt free skinny cocktails are extremely easy to whip up, and even easier to drink. Whether you are planning a picnic in the park, or a party with your friends these drinks will be the fan favorite amongst your guests.
Keep things light and serve an array of fresh fruits for your guests to add to their cocktails. If you want to take it a step further with the presentation, use mason jars, or if you want to get fancy the Moscow mule mugs are equally as impressive.
Let’s get the party started:
Guilt Free Fizz
fill glass 3/4 full of sparkling water of choice (I prefer the coconut La Croix)
add fresh juice/nectar of your choice
(orange, blackberry, pomegranate, lime, lemon, pineapple, watermelon, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry)
Add a hint of rosemary, mint, basil, or cilantro
1 1/2 ounces of your favorite vodka
Non- alcoholic guilt free fizz drinks are also a great option if you are just looking for a daily refreshing beverage.
3 ounces lite coconut milk
3 ounces blanco tequila
1 ½ ounces triple sec
8 ounces coconut water
Fresh lime wedge
1 1/2 oz gin
6 oz diet ginger ale
1/4 fresh lime
Fresh basil Pinch
fresh shreded ginger
Moscow Mule Mugs:
Mojito Wine Spritzer
8-10 mint leaves
2 teaspoons agave nectar
juice from 1/2 lime
8 oz sauvignon blanc (Kim Crawford is my favorite)
8 oz club soda
Raspberry & Peach Bellini
2 oz white-peach puree
4 oz Prosecco (Skinny Girl Prosecco has only 100 calories per serving)
Blood Orange Margarita
2 ounces silver/blanco tequila
2 ounces fresh blood orange juice
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon light agave nectar (Skinny Girl Agave Sweetener is also an option)
Skinny Girl sweeteners are great when you are trying to eliminate refined sugars.
Add sea salt, brown sugar, or both for the rim
